"Art coincides with language in Aboriginal culture." Darren Charlwood

Darren Charlwood is a Wiradjuri man with a passion for sharing and growing knowledge from his experience of traditional Aboriginal culture and Western science. He holds a double degree in Visual Arts and Archaeology from the University of Sydney and studied Cultural Arts with artist Chico Monks at Eora TAFE NSW. Now working in Education at Sydney Botanical Gardens, Darren maintains his practice as an artist and is represented by Boomalli Aboriginal Artist's Cooperative.

Darren leads us through Sydney Botanical Gardens, sharing knowledge of disruptions to natural systems:
