So Kawaguchimanages the Krill Research Program at the Australian Antarctic Division. His current interest is the biology and ecology of Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) as well as application of commercial krill fishery information to krill management. So explains his collaboration with Lisa Roberts to make an animation to make sense of previously unseen krill mating behaviour.
