with Jason Benedek, William Gladstoneand Lisa Roberts
for the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation program
University of Technology Sydney
On Tuesday 9th May Jason Benedek, William Gladstoneand Lisa Robertslead a workshop for final year students of the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney. They show their recent experiments with Data Arena technologies to tell stories that combine science and art. Students provide feedback and some then climb into full body motion capture suits to experience motion capture technology first hand. Everyone wears 3D glasses and immerses in a Virtual Reality tour of Google Earth, and afterwards joins in brainstorming ideas for envisioning a future where, for example, technologies expand (not diminish) human senses.
